WAYNE, W.Va. — The Wayne County Board of Education is scheduled to interview five applicants for the superintendent’s job later today.

The board has been looking for a replacement for Lynn Hurt who previously announced her retirement, but agreed to stay on until a replacement is named.

Wayne County passed a significant school construction bond in the May election.
