Teenager hospitalized after Fayette County stabbing

MOSSY, W.Va. — A man was jailed after allegedly stabbing a teenager Saturday night in Fayette County.

After deputies received a call about a domestic dispute at a home near Mossy, they arrived to find a 16-year old boy had been stabbed in the back.

Though the suspect was gone, deputies caught up with 41-year-old Nathan Toney at a nearby gas station, where he was arrested and charged with malicious wounding.

The teenager was taken to Raleigh General Hospital and was listed in stable condition.
