CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Authorities are hoping the public can help in the disappearance of a young Kanawha County girl.

Deputies say Erica Brown, 16, of Cross Lanes was discovered missing Sunday morning from her home. Her parents contacted 911 to report her missing.

The parents are unsure what she was wearing. She’s 5′-1″, 100 pounds, with sandy blonde, long hair. Anyone knowing her whereabouts is asked to call the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department at 304-357-0169.
