Warrants outstanding in grocery store robbery

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Charleston police detectives are still looking for two women who they believe were in the getaway car that was part of the armed robbery and shooting last Thursday night at the Kanawha City Foodland.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Charleston residents Alisyn Lee Proctor, 19, and Telisa Renee McCauley, 22.

Police said the pair was last seen driving a white PT Cruiser with West Virginia license plate 5XA-753.

It’s alleged they were each promised $3,000 to operate the getaway car for John Proctor, III, 19, Ricky Patterson, 18, and a 17-year-old boy who have all been charged in the Foodland robbery. It’s alleged Proctor shot clerk Shawna Sampson in the chest during the heist.

The criminal complaint said the group spent the night at a Barboursville motel following the robbery.
