Victim identified in Jackson County fire

COTTAGEVILLE, W.Va. — A Wednesday morning fire that claimed the life of a Jackson County woman was an accidental blaze.

The state Fire Marshal’s Office said a cooking fire got out of hand in a mobile home in Cottageville and Kimberly Moore, 50, didn’t make it out. Her body was found in the hallway near the living room.

The fire was reported at around 5 a.m.
