WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. — The November General Election will be the focus on the second day of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting and Business Summit taking place at the Greenbrier Resort.
Political analyst Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia will begin the day with an 8:30 address. Sabato is known for Sabato’s Crystal Ball. He’ll be followed by a 9:30 forum on the race for the Third Congressional District. State Senator Evan Jenkins, R-Cabell, is scheduled to be on hand. Congressman Nick Rahall was invited but isn’t expected to attend.
The morning’s keynote address is set for 10 o’clock when Fox News’ Bret Baier takes the stage. That will be followed by a forum on the U.S. Senate race with both Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito and Secretary of State Natalie Tennant scheduled to be in attendance.
The summit continues Friday with the focus on education and a forum on the First and Second Congressional District races.
