Crash closes I-77 north in Jackson County

KENNA, W.Va. — An Thursday morning crash closed a busy interstate in Jackson County.

Two semis were involved in the accident in the northbound lanes of I-77 just north of the Kenna exit just before 6 a.m.  The driver of one of the trucks was taken to the hospital.

The northbound lanes were expected to be blocked for several hours.  Traffic northbound was being detoured at Kenna. The detour travels Route 21 north and reenters the interstate at Fairplain.
