Federal agents search Charleston pharmacy

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Federal agents spent several hours Wednesday at a popular Charleston pharmacy and lunch counter executing a federal search warrant.

Trivillian’s Pharmacy has been operating in Charleston since 1950.

Agents and investigators from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, Health and Human Services and Medicaid Fraud divisions entered Trivillian’s Pharmacy at about 9 a.m. Workers went home a short time later and customers were turned away at the door.

Most of the information is connection with the investigation is sealed and there’s no timeline on when the details of the probe will be released.

Trivillian’s Pharmacy has been in operation since 1950. It’s located at the corner of 35th Street and Noyes Ave. in the Kanawha City section of Charleston.
