WV billionaires make Forbes 400

NEW YORK, NY — Bill Gates again topped the Forbes 400 list of the richest Americans. He’s worth $81 billion. That list came out Monday. Two West Virginians made the cut.

Coal magnate and McDowell County native Chris Cline made the list at 346. His net worth is listed at $1.9 billion. Jim Justice, the owner of the Greenbrier Resort, as well as coal and land interests, is on the list for a second year at a net worth of $1.68 billion.

One hundred and thirteen billionaires did not make the cut this year. That’s because Forbes raised entry onto the list to $1.55 billion.
