Tomblin promotes Pizatella

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced Tuesday he’s appointed Fairmont native Jason Pizatella as Acting Secretary of Administration.

Pizatella has been Tomblin’s deputy chief of staff.

“Jason has been an integral part of my team and has earned the trust and respect of the Legislature and leaders from across the state. I’m confident Jason will do well in this new position, and I look forward to working with him in this new role,” Tomblin said in a news release.

Former acting secretary Ross Taylor is returning to his role as comptroller in the state Division of Finance.
