Gee delivers SOU Monday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU President Gordon Gee will deliver his first State of the University Address since returning to Morgantown Monday afternoon.

Gee’s second stint as WVU president officially began in March. He recently completed a tour of all 55 counties. He’ll talk about what he heard from state residents during Monday’s speech.

“Our campus does not end at the borders of Morgantown This State is our campus,” Gee said in a news release previewing the speech. “And as the flagship, land-grant university we have the opportunity – and the responsibility – to empower all 1.8 million West Virginians to rise higher.”

The address will begin at 3:15 p.m. at the Erickson Alumni Center.
