CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Clarksburg police said Saturday a four-year-old girl who was hit by a vehicle Wednesday morning died Friday at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

The girl was with her mother, two-year-old brother and an infant in a stroller attempting to cross Nicholas Street at around 7 a.m. Wednesday when the driver of a minivan on Hall Street turned left onto Nicholas Street striking the two older children.

The 4-year-old was taken initially to United Hospital Center and then on to Ruby for treatment while the 2-year-old boy was transported to UHC.
