Two dead in burned out car in McDowell County

PANTHER, W.Va. — The state Fire Marshal’s Office is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information in connection with the deaths of two men in McDowell County.

The victims were found dead  in a burned out car in the Longpole community at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

There are also reports the victims may have also suffered gunshot wounds.

State Police Troopers are assisting assistant fire marshals in the investigation.

Longpole Creek is located near Panther.
