Former judge killed in traffic accident

VIENNA, W.Va. — Former Wood County Circuit Judge Daniel Douglass was killed in a two-vehicle accident Thursday in Vienna.

Sheriff’s deputies said Douglass, 85, died at the scene of the wreck. The crash occurred at the intersection of Rosemar Road and Millstone Drive in Vienna.

Douglass was a 1953 graduate of the WVU College of Law. He served as circuit judge in Wood County from 1986 to 1994.
