MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — This week’s hugest news wasn’t Madison Bumgarner in Game 7 or the college football czars giving us a top 25 to chew on. It was, of course, Pee-Wee Herman revealing a long-awaited movie collaboration with Judd Apatow!
Twenty years ago the bow-tied embodiment of masculinity found his bicycle, rocked the big-shoe tequila dance and joined the circus. Now, with Apatow’s stewardship, Pee-Wee will build bunk beds with his new step-brother Wee-Wee, pedal his beach cruiser into the wall at Talladega and ultimately admit he’s a 60-year-old virgin.
