Morgantown deadly crash under investigation

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man is facing charges in a deadly car crash in Monongalia County. State Police say a 20-year-old man was killed in an accident early Sunday morning along Hartman Run Rd.

The accident occurred about 12:50 a.m. near the Woodland Terrace mobile home village. Details of what happened are still sketchy at best. The crash involved two vehicles. The 20-year-old man was a passenger in a Dodge Neon and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female driver was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the second car fled the scene on foot. Police said they have information on the driver and charges are pending.
