Hurricane shortstop Dawson commits to LSU

Hurricane shortstop Trey Dawson will play for LSU.

HURRICANE, W.Va. — Hurricane senior shortstop, and former WVU commitment, Trey Dawson announced on Thursday he is now committed to play for LSU after this upcoming season.

Dawson hit .402 with 35 RBIs last year as the Redskins won the Class AAA state championship. He had originally committed to WVU in the summer of 2013, receiving other recruiting interest then from the likes of Ohio State and Texas A&M.
