CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A Beckley man apologized Friday for helping kill a Charleston man last year. Devron Patterson was sentenced to life in prison with a chance for parole in 15 years following the death of Kareem Hunter.
Hunter was killed in the town of Marmet and his body later dumped just off the West Virginia Turnpike in Raleigh County.
Patterson was one of three people charged in the death.
