Man killed in Putnam County accident

TEAYS VALLEY, W.Va. — A Putnam County man died Friday evening after being thrown from his overturning vehicle in Teays Valley.

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies said Larry Ledsome, 74, of Hurricane, lost control of his truck on Teays Hollow Lane after striking a parked car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation continues into the 5 p.m. Friday wreck that took place not far from CAMC Teays Valley Hospital.
