State Police investigating convenience store robbery in Fayette County

OAK HILL W. Va. — State Police are searching for a robbery suspect in a Fayette County.

Troopers reported at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night, a suspect entered the Mountaineer Mart along Lochgelly Road in Oak Hill and went to the back while the attendant was distracted.

The suspect allegedly targeted the safe in the back room.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by State Police in Oak Hill.
