PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — One person was dead and a second person was being treated at a Morgantown hospital following a shooting Sunday night in Parkersburg.
Parkersburg Police confirmed a man, age 54, was found dead around 6 p.m. Sunday on Broadway Ave. in south Parkersburg. A woman, age 49, who had also been shot there was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
Reports indicated the two victims were a married couple.
Parkersburg Police were investigating.
