BELINGTON, W. Va. — A missing woman reportedly struggling with a mental condition was found dead Monday.
The body of Valerie “Kay” Robinson, 57, was recovered at 2 p.m. in the Belington area, according to sheriff’s deputies.
West Virginia state police, the Belington Fire Department and Belington police assisted in the recovery.
The body was sent to the State Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation.
A Silver Alert was issued due to Robinson’s mental condition.
The investigation into the death is ongoing.
