Fayette man enters plea in business owner’s death

BECKLEY, W.Va. — A Fayette County man is going to prison for beating a Raleigh County business owner to death at the business he owned, People’s Auto, located in Bradley.

On Tuesday, Don Dicken, 34, of Pax, entered a Kennedy plea to voluntary manslaughter in Raleigh County Circuit Court for the May 16 death of Glen Farrow, 47. He also entered a Kennedy plea to a breaking and entering charge.

Dicken’s total sentence was 25 years behind bars.

With a Kennedy plea, a defendant in a criminal case does not admit guilt.

Dicken was arrested a month after the murder.
