Mercer County bank robber sentenced to prison

PRINCETON, W. Va. — A man has been sentenced to multiplied decades in prison after robbing the City National Bank in Princeton.

Terry Lee Copley, 35, was sentenced to 25 years on first degree robbery charges Monday after committing the armed robbery in August.

Security footage showed Copley, 35, took less than 30 seconds to come into the establishment, demand the money and then take off with it.

An anonymous tip led police to Copley’s residence where they found the clothing worn during the crime.

Southern Regional Jail is where he is currently being held.
