BECKLEY, W.Va. — A Raleigh County man pleaded guilty Tuesday in the attack a doctor earlier this year.
Alvin Ray Williams, 31, pleaded guilty to malicious wounding and committing a crime against the elderly.
Williams entered Access Health on Carriage Drive in Beckley July 3 and asked to speak with a specific doctor. When the doctor came out Williams began punching him. Employees were holding Williams down when police arrived.
The victim was 67.
