Authorities searching for suspect in Braxton County armed robbery

FLATWOODS, W. Va. — Authorities in Braxton County are searching for a man who allegedly held up a gas station in Flatwoods.

On Saturday, a man described as white, standing around 6′ 1″ and wearing a white mask, a dark hooded jacket, blue jeans, gloves and boots came into the BP in Flatwoods with a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect then took off on foot in the direction of State Route 4.

Officials are unsure if the man had an accomplice waiting to pick him up or not.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call the Sutton Detachment of the State Police at 304-765-2101.
