MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Elijah Macon scored in double figures for the first time at West Virginia, Juwan Staten renewed his rebounding prowess during a double-double night, and Gary Browne adamantly insisted the Mountaineers’ mission is just getting started.
“We’ve got to be hungry—we can’t be satisfied,” Browne said Monday night after No. 18 West Virginia improved to 11-1. “Since I’ve been here this is the best (start), but we can’t be satisfied with that. It’s a good way to go on break, but we’ve got to come back and get more wins.”
