conveying false information concerning terrorist acts and committing terrorist hoaxes.
He is alleged to have robbed Huntington Bank’s White Oaks branch in July when he allegedly came in holding a gun, demanded money and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash in a vehicle..
Police set up a road block and were checking vehicles in the area after the heist but the suspect was not found until Amos was arrested after allegedly holding up the Marion Square branch of WesBanco in Fairmont later the same month with a knife, telling the bank tellers there was a bomb outside the facility and then making off with an undetermined amount of money.
Corporal John McDougal of the Fairmont Detachment of the West Virginia State Police spotted the suspect’s vehicle traveling through Monongah on Route 19 and pulled the vehicle over. After collaboration with the Bridgeport Police Department, it was determined Amos was the suspect in both cases.
