Marion County residents plead guilty to federal drug charges

CLARKSBURG, W. Va. — Two residents of Marion County entered guilty pleas to federal drug crimes Tuesday.

Daniel Carl Ash, 32, and Amanda Isolde Eiseman, 25, both of Fairmont, were convicted in federal court for their role in manufacturing methamphetamine.

An investigation by the Three Rivers Drug Task Force revealed they both repeatedly purchased pseudoephedrine, commonly used in the production of methamphetamine, throughout 2014.

Ash and Eiseman pleaded guilty to one count of Possession of Pseudoephedrine to be used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine and face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Shawn Morgan is prosecuting the cases on behalf of the government.

U.S. Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull presided.
