Trio arrested in home invasion

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — State Police arrested three suspects in a Cabell County home invasion Friday night in Lincoln County.

Dwayne Green, Jimmie Stewart, and Joey Adkins were located at a home in Hamlin.

The trio is charged with the violent break-in at a home at East Pea Ridge near Barboursville from early Thursday morning. Witnesses say one of the attackers carried a machete and threatened to kill a woman in the home.

Authorities say the suspects fled the area the victim clubbed one of the suspects in the head with a baseball bat.

All three are lodged in the Western Regional Jail.
