Dexter to retire from Thomas Health System

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A longtime health care leader in West Virginia is retiring.

The board of trustees with the Thomas Health System announced Monday president and CEO Stephen Dexter would retire July 31.

Dexter has been in a leadership position since 1994. He’ll be replaced by the system’s vice president Dan Lauffer.
