2015 NATIONAL SIGNING DAY
Notes: Cabell Midland has a group of eight players who are expected to sign at some point to play football at the next level. The list includes RB Alex Childers, RB Brady Elkins, OL/DL Jacob Adams, OL/DL Jordan Adams, OL/DL Nathan Jefferson, DE/LB Seth Vickers, C/DT Zach Postin and QB Coy Pettit. Jefferson, as of early this week, was the only one of the group with solid plans – he’ll attend West Virginia State.

2015 NATIONAL SIGNING DAY
Notes: Capital won the Class AAA state championship this past year with all kinds of athletes, many of them underclassmen, but it’s senior running back Kashuan Haley (pictured above) who headlines the group of 2015 graduates. He entered the week with an invited walk-on spot at WVU and has several other lower level options, including junior college. Capital players who have made their decisions include DB Karson Lawrence with West Virginia State, along with offensive lineman Jonathan Burkes and RB Tyrell Davis both with Glenville State.

Notes: Spring Valley has one of the more significant classes of signees in the state with Tyler Brown (Robert Morris), Trevor Stacy (Charlotte) and Alex Locklear (Marshall). Other signees from the Timberwolves include RB/CB Tyler Robertson with Mount St. Joseph and DE/TE Thomas Napier with Morehead State.

Notes: Besides Troy Lilly (WVU preferred walk-on) and Noah Hancock (Concord), the Flying Eagles also have a couple of other signees in receiver Josh Creed with Alderson Broaddus and receiver Brandon Hansford with Fairmont State. Standout quarterback Brent Osborne (pictured above) has been weighing several options, including WVU and Marshall.

The Indians scored four runs in the first inning and six more in the sixth to end their matchup with the Mohigans early. Zach Rohrig and Jacob Stavrakis each hit a home run in the victory, while Mark Biafore added a pair of two-run doubles.
