2 teens charged in Berkeley County shooting death

BUNKER HILL, W.Va. — Two teenagers were charged in connection with the Saturday night shooting death of a Berkeley County man.

State police said the victim, Shamel Davis, 19, of Bunker Hill, was found Saturday night along Fegan Road.

Troopers arrested an unidentified 17-year-old Bunker Hill male for the murder of Davis, who was reportedly shot in the neck. Police charged Brian Cook, Jr., 19, of Hedgesville, as an accessory to murder.

Cook was taken to the Eastern Regional Jail, according to jail records. The juvenile was being held on a first-degree murder charge at the Vicky Douglas Juvenile Detention Center.
