One dead in Princeton fire

PRINCETON, W.Va. — One person was killed in a fire Friday morning in Princeton.

WVVA-TV said fire crews from Princeton and East River responded to the blaze at just before 4:30 a.m. The house on Thornton Street was full of flames when they arrived.

One person was found dead inside the residence.

Firefighters also had to battle extreme cold and freezing water at the fire scene.
