Armed robbery in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown City Police are investigating a robbery of a convenience store that took place early Saturday morning.

Police said a man armed with a knife held up the Dairy Mart on Van Voorhis Road at 2:30 a.m.   

The clerk told police that a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt approached her and demanded money.  He fled with an undetermined amount of cash.  

Police ask anyone with information to call Morgantown Police at 304-284-7522.
