Man wanted in 2 robberies in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The same man is suspected of a pair of armed robberies early Saturday morning.

Police said a white male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt pulled a knife and demanded money from a clerk at the BFS on Earl Core Road in Sabraton around 3 a.m. The suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The same suspect was also wanted for an armed robbery at the BFS convenience store on the Mileground.

Anyone with information about either incident was asked to contact Morgantown police at 304-284-7522 or the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department at 304-291-7260.
