Final 2015 Girls Basketball MetroNews Power Index

Power Index 2014

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Class AAA defending state champion Morgantown (20-1) finishes the regular season as the No. 1 team in the final edition of the MetroNews Power Index for girls high school basketball.

Fairmont Senior (19-2) is the highest rated Class AA team at No. 5, while Wheeling Central(18-3) is the highest rated Class A team at No. 27.

The MetroNews Power Index is a computer based formula that factors in strength of schedule. Records listed are for regular season games only.

This is the 28th year for the MetroNews Power Index and 30th season that MetroNews will broadcast the WVSSAC state championship games.
