Multiple agencies make drug bust in Harrison County

CLARKSBURG, W. Va. — After extended surveillance, multiple law enforcement agencies were able to seize over 600 pills allegedly being distributed in Harrison, Lewis and other counties.

Deputies from both Lewis and Harrison Counties, along with the West Virginia State Police executed a search warrant late Monday night on the residence of Kimberly Jo Davis and Sarabeth Elyse Mines, located at 451 Washington Ave. in Clarksburg.

“Through working unitedly with Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, and other law enforcement agencies we are beginning to identify the source, or to better state it, sources of our drug problem,” Lewis County Sheriff Adam Gissy said.

As a result of the search, law enforcement personnel identified and seized 444 Oxycodone pills –“Percocet 30’s”, 5 grams of Cocaine, 125.5 Hydrocodone pills, 38 Codeine pills, 16 Alprazolam pills — “Xanax”, 8 Clorazapam pills, 3 Tramadol pills, and 1.5 oz. of Marijuana. Moreover, $15,410.75 was seized, along with a .45 caliber ACP handgun.

Both were was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Oxycodone, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Hydrocodone, Possession with Intent to Deliver Codeine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Marijuana and Conspiracy.

Davis was also charged with being a Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.

“This case is a prime example of where a drug dealer became oblivious to where the drugs they sold finally culminated,” Gissy said. “The drugs which the defendants were selling in Harrison County were being directly filtered to Lewis County, and likely other counties.”

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office prepared the search warrant.
