Even 50 years after his playing days ended, “Hot Rod” Hundley remains one of the most talented basketball players West Virginia ever produced—and certainly its most colorful. As MetroNews assembles a tribute to the late Hundley, we welcome your personal stories and encounters as part of a collection. We’d love to hear from friends, teammates and colleagues who interacted with Hundley from his days growing up in Charleston, to becoming a student at West Virginia or his stint as an NBA player/broadcaster.
