U.S. District Judge Thomas Johnston signed the order April 1 placing the building in control of Wells Fargo Bank, a trustee for Citigroup. A company called Colliers International of Charlotte, N.C. has been appointed as the receiver. Tenants have been advised to send their rent payments to Colliers.

Wells Fargo filed the action against the company Tomorrow 32 Laidley Tower.

Laidley Tower, located at the corner of Lee and Court streets, isn’t full. It suffered a blow several months ago when Patriot Coal moved its headquarters to Putnam County.
