CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A man wanted for murder in Michigan was taken into custody Wednesday in Charleston.
Troy Desean Johnson, 27, was arrested without incident on Charleston’s West Side by the U.S Marshal Service Task Force, Kanawha County sheriff’s deputies and the state Department of Corrections. He was spotted in a car by task force members.
Johnson allegedly committed a murder in Jackson County, Michigan. He was arraigned on fugitive from justice charges in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
