HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — I-64 in Cabell County was shutdown in both directions for a time Saturday morning as police and other emergency workers engaged in an impromptu round up.
A truck hauling 96 cattle overturned and landed on its side in the median between the six and eight mile markers on the interstate. Nobody was hurt, but at least four of the cattle escaped and were running wild around the area.
Crews spent much of the morning trying to recapture the frightened beasts.
