Trio charged in Boone County drug bust

MADISON, W.Va. — Boone County deputies have charged three people after the discovery of a large amount of prescription pills at a home in the Bloomingrose community.

Deputies went there acting on information developed from tips and anonymous sources and executed a search warrant at the home on Toney’s Branch.

Sheriff Randall White called the residents a “one stop shop drug house.”  Inside deputies discovered Heroin, Cocaine, crack cocaine, Hydrocodone pills, Xanax pills, Opana pills, two hand guns and more than $1,000.

Charged are Tyree Lamont Hicks, 38,of Detroit Michigan and the two home owners James “Jamie” Javins, 28, and Sabrina Ward, 21, both of Bloomingrose.  The three were arrested and charged with six  felony counts of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, one count for each drug listed,and Conspiracy.  In addition to those charges, Javins and Ward were also charged with a felony count of Child Neglect Creating a Substantial Risk of Injury.
