Man dies in Hampshire County crash

KIRBY, W.Va. — A Hampshire County man died in a single vehicle crash early Tuesday morning near the community of Kirby.

State police said Jeffrey Wisecraver, 54, of Augusta, lost control of his vehicle traveling south on Ford Hill Road at about 4:30 a.m. The vehicle crisscrossed the highway and slammed into an embankment. Wisecraver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers are continuing their investigation.
