CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A wanted man in Tennessee located in Bridgeport last week has waived his extradition.
Appearing in court Tuesday, Chad Everette Henry chose not to fight being transported back to the state where there is a warrant for his arrest on charges related to the murder of his wife.
Harrison County Circuit Court Judge John Lewis Marks, Jr. set a timeline for the proper authorities from to Tennessee to be pick up Henry from from the North Central Regional Jail by 5 p.m. on Monday.
Henry, 38, of Henderson, Tennessee, is alleged to have run over his wife, Kelly Henry with a pickup truck in Dec. 2014 after getting into an argument. She later died in the hospital on January 1.
Henry had been released on bond and was reportedly given permission to work in West Virginia, according to his court appointed lawyer.
He was located working at a pipe yard near the Pete Dye Golf Club and arrested by troopers from the Bridgeport Detachment, with cooperation from a helicopter unit from Charleston.
Henry was initially charged with third-offense driving under the influence and aggravated domestic assault in Decatur County, Tennessee, but now faces murder and aggravated kidnapping charges.
