Mingo County man arrested after picking up drugs at post office

MATAWAN, W.Va. — A Mingo County man was arrested after police say he was caught trying to pick up drugs at the post office.

Mingo County Police say that a federal postal inspector alerted the Drug 119 Task Force that the package may contain drugs. Officers waited for the Christopher Risinger to pick up the package at the Matewan Post Office and arrested him.

Police say that Risinger admitted that he intended to sell the hydrocodone pills found inside the package. Marijuana was also allegedly discovered inside.

Risinger is in jail on $4,000 bond.
