Victim’s name released in fatal Princeton stabbing

PRINCETON, W.Va. — Investigators released the name Tuesday of a woman stabbed to death in a domestic dispute on Monday.

According to a detective, Ashley Seal was killed in a Highland Avenue apartment. William Seal will be charged with her homicide. The two were divorced and Ashley had gotten re-married a mere four hours before the stabbing.

Her new husband, 21-year-old Douglass Martin was allegedly at the scene and called 911.

William Seal suffered a stomach wound and is currently at Princeton Community Hospital. He will be charged with first-degree murder after his release.
