MARTINSBURG W.Va. — Twenty participants will engage in the weird, wild, and wonderful ODDFest this weekend, a festival designed to offer a little weirdness for everyone.
There will be ghost tours and a tattoo art exhibit at Martinsburg’s eclectic festival. For the more tame, there’s a wine tasting and a farmer’s market.
“It’s a festival where there is something for everyone,” said Laura Gassler, the Berkeley County CVB director appearing on “In-Touch West Virginia”
“Everything is falling into the category of weird, wild, and wonderful.”
There will also be tours of the historic Adam Stevens house and a geo-cashing trail for coin collectors.
“The fun part with that is it’s all in your perception,” said Gassler. “Something I think is really weird you might think is really wonderful.”
Gassler said the weekend festival has been made technology-compatible to give people as enjoyable experience as possible. If you don’t know how to get to the right event, simply download the ODDFest app and it will direct you to the right place.
“If you’re at one event and you want to go to another and you don’t know how to get there, just use our app,” said Gassler. “It will give you directions on how to get to the next location.”
