NORTHFORK, W.Va. — An ATV crash in McDowell County involving three juveniles early Wednesday afternoon left one girl dead.
The accident occured on Burke Mountain near Northfork, police said. The names of the three will not be released out of respect for the family.
The female who died was driving a small motorcycle, while the other two were on the ATV. The two riding the ATV were not injured. The crash occurred on a county road.
The incident remains under investigation.
