Two transported to hospital after house fire in Lewis County

LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. — One individual was reportedly transported the West Penn Burn Center in Pittsburgh and another to Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital after a Friday morning house fire in Lewis County.

Multiple crews were called to the scene along Right Freeman’s Creek Road at approximately 6:35 a.m., according to the Jackson’s Mill Volunteer Fire Department.

The identities of the victims and their current conditions are not being released at this time.

The home is considered a total loss.

An investigation into the fire led by the Jackson’s Mill VFD is ongoing.
